  9. SRename is an advanced Rename CLI command. Features include:

  11. - 53 CLI options
  12. - Easy to use command interface
  13. - Total control over recursion
  14. - Wildcard and multiple filename support
  15. - Selector - Action keyword separation that allows building
  16.   specialized functions
  17. - Can perform intelligent renumbering with automatic checking for
  18.   filename clashes
  19. - Unlimited number-basename format support for renumbering
  20. - Can execute multiple actions in one go
  21. - Supports long filenames on filesystems that allow them
  22. - Can also modify filename comments
  23. - It's freeware

  27. - After a request from JanRoger Haugan I also added support for the
  28.   modification of filename comments. Because of this the COMMENT, TOCOMMENT
  29.   and TOFILENAME keywords were added.
  30. - The ICONS option can now be also used with wildcards.
  31. - Fixed bug introduced in 2.800 that caused MATCH to finish early when the new
  32.   filename was going to be shorter than the old one.
  33. - Fixed bug that could cause a crash when ICONS was used with recursion and a
  34.   non-wildcard pattern, and a match couldn't be found in the starting directory.
  35. - Included an 020 executable as it is a bit smaller than the generic.
